Freshwater House 1

An old 1930’s bungalow was demolished to make way for this beachside family home. Inspired by the beach house vernacular of the area, the use of sandstone, and timber was important to the clients, as well as a large family and kitchen area opening directly onto the level rear north facing lawn. The double garage that has access to the street at the rear, allows for a barn door to access the garage space from the back lawn to allow for additional play areas for the children.
